Farm

Description

Exclusive Falcon Farm & Private Estate in Andalucía, Spain An exceptional opportunity to own a private estate and established falcon breeding operation in southern Spain, offering both a luxury retreat and a fully licensed business in one of Europe’s most desirable regions. A unique property located in a natural park in the province of Málaga, set in the mountains behind Marbella on the Costa del Sol, just 30 minutes from Málaga International Airport. The farm specialises in the breeding of white Saker falcons, along with a smaller number of peregrines. It has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality Sakers, prized for both their beauty and racing performance, with exports primarily to GCC countries. The operation is fully licensed and complies with all legal requirements, including breeding permits, a zoo licence, and commercial authorisation. Currently, the farm breeds approximately 45 to 60 falcons per year, with ongoing growth each season. It includes 17 breeding pairs of Sakers, several pairs of peregrines, and around 45 additional young birds retained for future breeding. A prominently feature is the farm's commitment to natural breeding. This unique selling point distinguishes the operation from many others, as it relies on the natural pairing of the birds rather than artificial insemination. This approach often correlates with higher quality and healthier offspring, which is highly valued in the white Saker and peregrine falcon market. Facilities include 25 breeding chambers, incubation rooms, a laboratory, CCTV cameras, storage areas with freezers, and a large hacking pen (optional). Positioned on elevated land, the property offers exceptional views and ideal conditions for wild hacking, making it a compelling investment opportunity in the Andalusian countryside. The current owner is open to remaining involved during the transition, providing valuable expertise if desired. Located in the peaceful countryside of Coín, this finca offers a rare chance to acquire an established and fully operational falcon breeding business. The property also features a beautifully maintained, single-level South African lodge-style wooden house. The home offers three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a master suite with en-suite. The open-plan design connects a large kitchen with the living and dining areas, all enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. A mezzanine level provides additional flexible space for storage or accommodation. Large windows throughout fill the home with natural light and frame the landscape. Set on a generous 10,000 m² plot, the grounds include productive olive trees, some over 500 years old, as well as ponds fed by rainwater collection and a natural water source. Additional features include storage rooms, a dog enclosure with kennel, town water supply, a private well, and good access.
